Dogain Optoelectronic Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. was established in 2017, the company takes the design and manufacturing of high-end laser chips as its core competitiveness, focusing on the upstream of the optoelectronics industry chain. With a full set of engineering and manufacturing capabilities covering compound semiconductor laser chip design, epitaxial growth, device technology, chip packaging, test characterization, reliability verification and functional modules, focusing on the design, development and manufacturing of high-performance, high-power and high-reliability optoelectronic chips and devices.

  • 2017

    DoGain was registered and established and received a seed round of 20 million yuan in financing.

    It was awarded a major leading talent project in Suzhou Industrial Park.

    Obtained an angel round of 21 million yuan in financing and started the construction process of the full IDM model.

  • 2018

    Completed the A round of financing of 108 million yuan.

    2,550 square meters of ultra-clean workshop and chip production line construction.

  • 2019

    Completed the installation and commissioning of the first MOCVD equipment.

    The epitaxial development was successful, opening a new stage of independent control.

    The FAB production line and packaging production line were completed and circulated, and the chip products began to be produced.

  • 2020

    Selected as a listed nursery cultivation project in Suzhou Industrial Park.

    The whole process optimization was completed, and the product reliability verification was passed.

    Awarded as a talent for entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship in Jiangsu Province.

    Pump, medical, industrial products began mass production.

    It was approved as Suzhou Enterprise Technology Center and selected as a "unicorn" cultivation enterprise in Suzhou.

    Completed the B+ round of financing of 100 million yuan.

    Completed the B++ round of financing of 70 million yuan and the C round of financing of hundreds of millions of yuan.

    Through the ISO9001 quality system certification, VCSEL and 980 single-mode module products have been sold.

    It was awarded the "2020 China Potential Unicorn Enterprise" and was approved by Suzhou Enterprise Engineering Technology Research Center.

    A provincial academician workstation was set up, and a new R&D building was put into use.

    Received the Second Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award from the Optical Engineering Society,Was selected for the Gusu Innovation and Entrepreneurship Leading Talent Program.

    High-power single-tube chips and high-power fiber optic coupling modules are sold in batches.

    The Fiber Optic Coupling Module Nantong Mass Production Base has been completed and put into operation.

    Awarded the "Gazelle Enterprise of the Park in 2022" and the High-Quality Intellectual Property Creation Award".

    The product "Telecommunication-grade High-Power Single-Mode 980nm Semiconductor Laser Chip and Pumping Module" was officially launched.

    VCSEL chips achieved mass production at the KK level.

    Selected as a Jiangsu Provincial Enterprise Technology Center and a Jiangsu Specialized, Refined, Differential, and New Small and Medium-sized Enterprise.

    Honored as a Potential Unicorn Enterprise in Jiangsu Province in 2022 and a Potential Unicorn Enterprise in China in 2022.

    Won the "Top Ten Optical Industry Technologies in China in 2022" award.

    The company was renamed to "Dogain Optoelectronic Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd."

    Established four regional marketing centers in Beijing, Wuhan, Shenzhen and Xi'an, as well as an International Business Department.

    Two subsidiaries, Suzhou Dogain Optoelectronic Devices Co., Ltd. and Suzhou Dogain Vertical Cavity Chip Co., Ltd., were officially inaugurated.

    Released the world's first 55W 9xxnm single-emitter chip as its latest technological achievement.

    Launched 940nm high-temperature resistant semiconductor laser chips and fiber-coupled pump modules for automotive LiDAR applications.

    The Dongfanghong series infrared VCSEL light source chips have obtained AEC-Q102 automotive qualification certification.

    Honored as a National Specialized, Refined, Differential and Innovative "Little Giant" Enterprise and winner of the Suzhou Quality Award.

    Selected into the high-value patent cultivation project of Suzhou City.

    The double junction of semiconductor laser chips exceeded 110W, and the single junction exceeded 74W.

    It was awarded the "Third Batch of Leading Enterprises in Suzhou Intellectual Property Enterprise Cultivation Project", and the performance of intellectual property management passed the evaluation of the provincial bureau.

    Passed the TL9000 certification and is in line with the quality management system of the international communication industry.

    It has won the 23rd China Top Ten Optical Industry Technology Award, the 24th Ringier Innovation Technology Award, and the Red Light Award for the Best Growth Enterprise Award.

    Won two major awards in the Veken Cup OFweek 2024 Laser Industry Annual Selection.

    Single-mode 1064nm wave-locking DFB laser chips and devices have been successfully developed to achieve stable batch supply.

    The company was officially changed to "Dogain Optoelectronic Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd.".

    Published the latest achievements of 915nm single-tube single-junction devices to break through to 95W power output.

    Won the 2025 Laser Golden Shine Award New Product Award.

    First 4-inch InP Mass Production line in China run-through.

    100/200/400mW CW DFB & 100G EML Chip introduction at OFC 2026.
