High efficiency and lightweight 976nm 650W 220μm wave lock pump module

Based on the self-developed DFB wave locking chip technology, the product adopts the technical route of combining DFB chip and high thermal conductivity and lightweight packaging, breaking through the limitations of the traditional outer cavity VBG (volumetric Bragg grating) wave locking scheme, achieving a wider wavelength locking range, higher electro-optical conversion efficiency and stronger environmental adaptability. It has the characteristics of high electro-optical conversion efficiency, high reliability and fast wave locking, and can greatly reduce the volume and weight of the whole system.

Product innovation

1) Stronger wavelength locking ability

Using the self-developed DFB chip, the temperature drift coefficient is optimized from 0.33 nm/°C to 0.06 nm/°C of the traditional scheme, and the wavelength stability is greatly improved. The module can achieve precise wave locking in a wide temperature range of ≥50°C and a large dynamic current range of 3~25A, adapting to the needs of harsh industrial environments.

2) Higher output power and electro-optical conversion efficiency

Breaking through the bottleneck of traditional VBG solutions: external cavity VBG locking wave introduces 3%~8% optical loss, while DFB chips have no wave locking loss and higher efficiency;

Thermal resistance optimization packaging technology: through material and structural innovation and optimization, the volume is reduced, the thermal resistance is reduced, and the output power of ≥650W is achieved under 24A driving current, the electro-optical conversion efficiency is ≥58%, the module weight is **g, and the power-to-weight ratio is **W/g;

3) Lower chip junction temperature, better reliability

The design of high thermal conductivity packaging materials and thermal management schemes significantly reduces the thermal resistance of the module, and the working junction temperature of the chip is greatly reduced, which further enhances reliability and prolongs the service life of the product while improving performance.

4) Stronger environmental adaptability

Traditional VBG schemes are susceptible to environmental changes, resulting in optical path shifts and spectral sidelobes. The DFB chip integrates wave locking through the on-chip grating to completely avoid the risk of lock loss, ensure spectral stability under complex working conditions, and calmly cope with special extreme environments.
